A Tribute to Mother Earth

Rising from the rich dark

depths of decay new life

bursts forth generating 

labyrinthine patterns.

 

Golden in sunlight, dark 

as night, these trees are 

the eternal renewal of 

Mother Earth.

 

Inspired by the forests and

olive groves of Italy,

this project is a collaboration

between the British artist,

Helen A. Ward, 

now living in Umbria, 

and Marianna De Sio.

 

The gift of nature from the olive tree is her liquid gold.
